Privacy policy for events

In the following, we provide information on the processing of personal data transmitted as part of the registration process for face-to-face or online events and any personal data collected by us in accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Types or categories of personal data to be processed in the context of the event organization:

We collect, record and process the following personal data for the purpose of event organization and implementation:

First and last name; contact details of the company (e-mail address and telephone or cell phone number), photo and video recordings (for face-to-face events).

4. Purposes of the processing and its legal basis

The processing of personal data takes place exclusively for the coordination of the event organization and reporting on our social media channels; further processing of personal data for other purposes is excluded. Data is only forwarded to order processors.

5. Legal basis of the data processing

By confirming the checkbox under enabled acknowledgement of this data protection notice (incl. your right of revocation, see 10. below), you expressly and voluntarily as well as actively consent to the data processing described here.

By using our event services (in presence), you agree that we have the right to share and publish images taken during the use of our services on our official social media channels. We respect your privacy and will always ensure that your personal rights are protected. If you have any objections to the publication of certain images, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate action.

6. Categories of external recipients of your personal data:

Your data may be processed by reliable software companies, in this case Pipedrive, from the area of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), which act exclusively on the basis of our instructions and are contractually bound accordingly in accordance with Article 28 DS-GVO.

7. Third country transfer of your personal data

An active transfer of your personal data to a third country does not take place and is not planned. Please note, however, that Pipedrive Inc. may process your personal data in countries outside the EU or EEA, such as the United States, as part of the Pipedrive CRM software we use.

In particular, it cannot be ruled out that third parties [such as the competent regulatory authorities in the U.S.] may have unrestricted access to your personal data. For data processing in the U.SA. there is no adequacy decision by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the order processing contract in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR and guarantees in the form of EU standard data protection clauses, Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c GDPR. A copy of the EU standard data protection clauses can be requested from us.

8. Duration of the storage of the personal data

Your personal data will be deleted if and insofar as there are no retention obligations for us (so-called “retention periods”) and as soon as the above-mentioned purposes for their storage cease to apply or the legal basis on which the processing is based subsequently ceases to apply without replacement.

9. Data subject rights

Pursuant to Chapter 3 of the GDPR, you are entitled in particular to. the following data subject rights to be asserted against us:

Information about the personal data stored about you in accordance with Art. 15 DS-GVO;

Correction of inaccurate personal data pursuant to Art. 16 DS-GVO;

Erasure or restriction of the processing of personal data pursuant to Artt. 17 and 18 GDPR;

Data transfer of your personal data in case of data processing with the help of automated procedures according to Art. 20 DS-GVO;

Objection to the processing of your personal data (for the performance of a public task or in the legitimate interest) pursuant to Art. 21 DS-GVO, unless we can demonstrate legitimate grounds for the above-mentioned processing of your personal data that override your interests, or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.

In addition, there is a right of appeal to a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 DS-GVO. The following supervisory authority is approximately responsible for us.

10. Right of withdrawal in case of consent according to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR

You have the right to revoke your consent under data protection law at any time with effect for the future and without giving reasons. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until your revocation.
